Message Title: Wisdom Has Unlimited Capacity For Growth
Ministering: Pastor David Ibiyeomie

What is wisdom?

Wisdom is the application of God’s word to get your desired result.

The Word of God is the wisdom of God; it is the master key of life.

Wisdom is the scriptural solution to the turbulence of life.

Wisdom is knowing what to do according to the scripture and doing it at the right time. – Luke 2:40, 52

Jesus grew in three dimensions: spirit, soul and body. If Jesus could grow in these dimensions, you must grow like Him. – Eph. 5:1

For wisdom to grow, it must grow

1. Mentally

2. Spiritually

3. Physically

How to Grow in Your Spirit

a. Study God’s Word – 2 Tim. 2:15, Isa. 4:6

– Ignorance of God’s word is very dangerous as it is the most certain method the devil can use against you.

b. Engage in prayer and fasting. – Luke 18:1

– Prayer opens the door to show you great and mighty things.

– You can’t neglect prayer and fasting in spiritual growth; it’s one of the fastest ways to change your life.

c. Live a life of obedience. – John 2:5

– God will never advance you beyond your level of obedience. The more of God you obey, the more of God you receive.

– Obedience ignored is miracle declined.

The Mind

– The mind is one of God’s greatest gift to us.

– Your relevance in life is a function of your mind.

– The mind is where earth-shaking ideas are born.

– The difference between the mediocre and the celebrity is their mind.

– How much you invest in your mind determines the dividends you enjoy in life.

A man who cares so much about his wardrobe without developing his mind will remain a handsome dummy.

A woman who invests in heels and wigs without developing her mind will be tall in height but short in intellect.

Pay the price to get the prize you deserve.

If you’re big and you’re poor, nobody will take you seriously.

How to Develop Yourself Physically

1. Exercise your body. – 1 Tim. 4:8

2. Rest your body. – Matt. 8:24

– When your body lacks rest, your results in life will be affected.

– Even God Almighty and Jesus rested. – Gen. 2:2

– When fatigue steps in, faith steps out. However, do not equate rest with laziness!
