Message Title: Wisdom is Better Than Weapons of War

In life, strategy is superior to energy and strength.

 

Wisdom being better than weapons of war has the following implications:

 

1. Wisdom is superior to weapons.

 

2. Wisdom will do what weapons cannot do.

 

3. Wisdom is the highest level of weapon.

 

4. Wars may be fought with weapons but they are won with wisdom.

 

5. Wisdom will cause you to win wars without firing a shot.

 

6. Massive wisdom with minimal weapons will defeat massive weapons with minimal wisdom.

 

7. Weapons are useless and almost dangerous without wisdom.

 

What is Wisdom?

 

1. Wisdom is generational solution provision.

 

2. Wisdom is access to the mind, thoughts, and ways of God on a particular issue.- Isa. 55:8-8

 

3. Wisdom is access to hidden secrets and mysteries. – Job 29:4, Dan. 2:19

 

4. Wisdom is supernatural capability to dissolve knotty issues and difficult puzzles. – John 8:3-7

 

5. Wisdom is supernatural access to innovation, invention and creativity. – Prov. 8:12

 

The Ways of Wisdom

 

1. Consecration

 

– The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

 

2. Revelation of the Word. – Jer. 8:9

 

– You can’t reject the Word and retain wisdom.

 

3. Supplication in prayer. – James 1:5, 2 Chr. 1:10

 

– Ask God questions in prayers.

 

4. Separation. – Prov. 18:1

 

5. Reflection. – Acts 10:19, Prov. 20:5

 

– Reflection in thoughts is a way to stir the Spirit of wisdom.

 

6. Observation of life. – Jer. 18:1-3, Lam. 3:51

 

7. Association. – Prov. 13:20-21

 

– You can’t follow the wrong person and end up in the right place.

 

8. Inspiration. – Job. 32:8, Rom. 8:14

 

– The Spirit of God is the Spirit of wisdom that gives inspiration.

 

9. Instructions and information. – Prov. 1:5, 8:33, 19:20

 

– Gather anointed materials and study them to increase your level of wisdom.

 

10. Impartation from carriers of a higher level of wisdom. – Deut. 34:9

 

11. Celebration in praise. – Isa. 12:3, 2 King. 3:15

 

– You can’t find inspiration in an atmosphere of depression. When you are depressed, you are deprived.

 

12. Submission. – Ps. 23:1-2, Rom. 8:4

 

– To be led is to be willing to follow. You must be willing to obey God’s instructions.
